Our kit cards are all double sided pre-printed cards for completion at home. You will receive a card and a laminating kit. You then fill in the details on the card yourself and laminate it using the laminating pouch. Photo's of the cards will be on this page soon.
You can achieve excellent results either in your own handwriting, by using a typewriter, or even any computer printer. To achieve professional results for your I.D card please follow the simple instructions below:
Go to any stationers and buy some clear self adhesive film, if you can't get film, Avery Labels produce clear self adhesive labels which are fine, make sure you get the right one for your printer as laser and ink jet sheets are not compatible. Type the details you require onto the sheet using any font in your computer, point size 10 is a pretty good size. Print it out. Now very carefully cut out the text you need, name, address, etc, it varies from card to card, and stick the text in the relevant places. Another version of the above which produces the best finish also uses self adhesive film. Work out a template for your ID card which will print all the information you require on your card in the correct places. Print out a sample of the template on plain paper to ensure that everything lines up. Then once you have made the template correctly, print onto film. Add the film to your ID card.
This does vary slightly for different designs of ID so double check the size of photo you are going to need before you trim it. Stick the photo to the I.D card. Place the ID card inside the laminating pouch making sure you have it straight. For the best results we recommend that at this stage the side of your ID card which has your photo stuck to it is facing the white removable paper. Carefully remove the white protective paper and press down the clear adhesive cover carefully expelling any air bubbles.
